Millstone is the single malt whisky label produced by Zuidam Distillers, a family-owned operation based in Baarle-Nassau, the Netherlands. While the Zuidam family established the distillery in 1975, the Millstone range has grown steadily to become one of Europe's most respected craft whisky expressions. Distilled using traditional pot stills and carefully selected grains, Millstone whiskies are recognised for their fruity and spicy character, complemented by a rich malt backbone. The range demonstrates impressive versatility in cask maturation, drawing on American oak, French oak, port, and sherry casks to craft whiskies of genuine depth and complexity. The Dutch climate — cooler and more temperate than Scotland, yet with its own seasonal nuances — lends a distinctive quality to the maturation process.
