Strathisla Distillery, nestled in the small town of Keith in the heart of Speyside, Scotland, stands as one of the oldest continually operating distilleries in the Scottish Highlands, having been founded in 1786. Its name derives from the River Isla that flows through the surrounding valley. The distillery is instantly recognisable by its twin pagoda-roofed pagodas, cobblestone courtyard and whitewashed stone walls — a postcard image of traditional Scottish whisky production that draws visitors from around the world. Operating under the Chivas Brothers umbrella, Strathisla serves as the spiritual home and key component of the celebrated Chivas Regal blended Scotch whisky range. As a single malt in its own right, Strathisla is rich and full-bodied, offering layered aromas and flavours of dried fruit, ripe apple, honey, cinnamon and gentle oak spice. The palate is rounded and generous, with a warmth that lingers well into a long, satisfying finish — a quintessential expression of Speyside elegance.
