Plasencia Alma Fuerte emerged in 2017 as the most ambitious expression from one of Central America's most storied tobacco dynasties. The Plasencia family, with five generations of cultivation across Nicaragua and Honduras, channeled decades of expertise into a line that aims to encapsulate the full power and complexity of Nicaraguan terroir. The name itself — 'strong soul' — sets clear expectations: this is not a cigar for the faint-hearted or the impatient. Crafted primarily from Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo leaves grown in the Jalapa and Estelí valleys, the blend undergoes extended aging to soften its intensity without sacrificing character.
