Cuban-born master blender José 'Pepín' García, already legendary for his work at other prestigious houses, joined forces with his son Jaime García in 2008 to establish this Nicaragua-based brand in the fertile Jalapa valley. The family grows much of its own tobacco on Nicaraguan volcanic soil, enabling meticulous control from seed to final product. The house is known for producing full-bodied, richly complex cigars with a refined, velvety finish that rewards the patient smoker. The flagship line, Le Bijou 1922, earned widespread critical acclaim—including coveted 'Cigar of the Year' recognition—cementing the García legacy in modern premium cigar culture.
