Loch Lomond Single Malt

Highlands, Scotland · 1814'den beri

Loch Lomond Distillery sits on the southern banks of the loch that shares its name, occupying a unique geographical position at the threshold between the Scottish Highlands and Lowlands. Though the site traces its origins to 1814, the modern distillery was rebuilt in the 1960s and has since developed into one of Scotland's most technically versatile whisky producers. What truly distinguishes Loch Lomond is its rare combination of traditional swan-neck pot stills alongside straight-necked rectifier stills, allowing distillers to craft a remarkable range of spirit styles from a single site. The Single Malt expressions showcase this breadth admirably, offering profiles that range from light, floral, and grassy to richer notes of vanilla, orchard fruit, and gentle oak. This flexibility has given rise to several distinct expressions — among them Inchmurrin, Croftengea, and others — each reflecting a different facet of the distillery's capabilities. The surrounding landscape of the loch, Scotland's largest by surface area and a national park, lends a sense of quiet grandeur to the brand's identity.
