Loch Lomond Distillery stands on the southern shores of its namesake loch, deep in the Scottish Highlands, and carries a heritage that stretches back to 1814 in its earliest form. The modern distillery was re-established in Alexandria in 1966 and has since become one of the most technically versatile facilities in all of Scotland. At its core lies a rare combination of traditional pot stills and the distinctive straight-necked Lomond stills, allowing distillers to produce a remarkable spectrum of spirit styles under one roof — from delicate, fruity single malts to richer, more robust expressions. The use of both peated and unpeated malts adds another layer of complexity to the range. Matured in a variety of cask types, Loch Lomond whiskies tend to reveal notes of orchard fruit, gentle spice, fresh grass and occasional wisps of smoke.
