The name pays homage to the Kentucky farm near Knob Creek where Abraham Lincoln spent part of his childhood, lending the brand an unmistakable sense of American heritage. Aged for a minimum of nine years in new charred oak barrels and bottled at 100 proof as standard, Knob Creek delivers a richly layered experience of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and warm spice. Its higher rye content in the mash bill contributes a pleasant pepperiness that balances the natural sweetness drawn from long barrel contact. Beyond the flagship expression, the lineup extends to single barrel releases and barrel-proof bottlings that attract serious bourbon enthusiasts.
