Inver House Distillers was established in 1964 at the Moffat Distillery near Airdrie, Scotland, initially as a venture of the American company Publicker Industries. Over the decades, the group evolved into one of Scotland's most respected independent distilling companies, building a portfolio that spans five distinct single malt distilleries: an Cnoc, Balblair, Old Pulteney, Speyburn, and Knockdhu. What sets Inver House apart is its commitment to preserving the individual character of each distillery under its ownership rather than homogenising production. Each site retains its own house style, regional identity, and traditional methods. The group also has a long history in blended Scotch production, with considerable expertise in both vatted malt and grain whisky. Since 2001, Inver House has been part of the Thai beverage giant ThaiBev, yet day-to-day operations and the spirit of Scottish craftsmanship remain firmly rooted in Scotland.
