Glen Grant was founded in 1840 by brothers James and John Grant in Rothes, at the heart of Speyside, Scotland. It stands as one of the oldest and most storied distilleries in the region, celebrated for producing a distinctively light, floral, and fruit-forward style of single malt. The distillery's unusually tall stills and purifiers are the key to its signature character, encouraging a clean, delicate spirit with notes of fresh apple, pear, hazelnut, and subtle spice. Under the stewardship of Major James Grant, the distillery flourished in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and the Victorian walled garden he created on the grounds remains a beloved landmark to this day. Glen Grant achieved remarkable commercial success in Italy, where it became the best-selling single malt Scotch for decades. Now owned by Campari Group, the distillery continues to honor its heritage while expanding its aged expressions, including the acclaimed 10, 12, and 18-year-old releases that showcase the gentle complexity of Speyside craftsmanship.
