Launched in 1985, the Ashton brand quickly earned its reputation for quality and consistency, with VSG representing its boldest expression. The wrapper leaf, grown under direct sunlight in the Cibao Valley region of the Dominican Republic, develops an oily, rich texture and deep brown hue that sets it apart from shade-grown counterparts. The result is a smoking experience defined by robust notes of dark chocolate, espresso, black pepper, and seasoned cedar, with a lingering sweetness on the finish. Crafted at the Fuente factory in Santiago, every VSG undergoes meticulous aging and quality control.
